Awesome

I really liked both sections, and the second reminded me of Banjo Kazooie lol, I love the mallet instruments :). 5/5 9/10. Would be a solid 10 if it went a bit longer. excellent work.

smilingpig67 responds:

Haha thanks, but if it went longer, I thought it would sound repetitive, so I stuck with two variations. :D

Wow

This was really nice, but I was really hoping it would build up more than it did, I was expecting something sharp to jump out at any moment and scare me but it never did. Maybe in part 2 eh? I tried to give this a 9/10 because it was missing its catharsis but I just couldn't, this still deserves 10 either way. Great job, love the glitch feel, its nice but not so dirty that it ruins the ambient feel, everything else such as the water and the ukulele and the keyboard at the end as well as the drums, really made it great.

RetromanOMG responds:

I was planning on having it build up and rip out one of my amen breaks, but I also wanted to have this genuinely ambient glitch song.

As a result, my song was cut into two halves, one being this soft, ambient beat, and the other being this powerfull, dirty sounding breakcore tune.

Speaking of which, it shouldn't take me too long to finish Part 2.

Nice

Everything sounds really good except the entire track has a 'middle' equalizer feel to it, and that is the kind of sound that is excellent for an intro. I was kinda hoping after about 40-50 seconds it would fade in to a fuller sound if you know what I mean. Excellent work anyways. 9/10

Nice

Sounded terrible. I love it.

Nice

Haven't heard the original but this is nice, the 6/8 time sig is a nice change from what I'm used to hearing here. Good choice of instruments and the choir ah's work well.

Shamukh responds:

Thanks for the review. :)

Haven't heard the original but I know a few Touhou songs. By the sounds of this I'd say you have the melody solid and added your own feel to it. Anyways its nice.

Naoki-Reisen responds:

Actually, this is not a remix of any Touhou Song. It's kinda like "my own style of Touhou Music", and that's why I called it a Touhou Attempt. :D

noiiiceee

That fade in noise a minute into scared the shit out of me.The start was a little slow and weird but then after a minute or so when the drums came in those large fade in fade out noises really made the song. Glass smashing was a little weird lol, but it wasnt all the same looping glass smash which is good. Was that a cow mooing after that? Then a happy bit that was overly happy to the point where it was creepy again. Very nice ambient track overall but instead of ambience, it is the sound of people getting killed with glass.

InvisibleObserver responds:

I did a good job muffling their screams.

The cow-ish sound is either me or a seal noise, I don't remember which though off hand. I think its me just going "mlurgh!"

ehhhhhhh

you need to fix the sound or something. too much reverb and the notes ringing out on top of eachother are superimposing poorly sometimes. The melody itself sounds like it might be pretty good if it wasnt for the terrible, gainy, reverby ringing noises being made.

Nice

Nice intro with interesting drums and delay effects, some of the delayed notes seem to superimpose with the new notes poorly in this section but it has an overall nice sound. shit gets pretty awesome at about 3 mins in, nice ambient track from here up, I liked the dance section following, at around 5:20 or so. Some things could be slightly improved but this deserves a solid 10 due to the massive amount of quantity that is all extremely solid. I'd say some parts are 9/10 and some are 10/10, so a 10 it is :D Beautiful song.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Very pleased to hear of your genre-diversity acknowledgment within this song.

cool

Nice work, some of the static peaks seem a little out of time, but there's a good sound going on and a nice melody etc. really nice ending too, should make a whole song based on that ending without the static, would be pretty cool.

ShootingStar responds:

Thanks for the review!!
